I've been going to Pizza Italia since middle school. It's consistent with quality and I love seeing the family members who are still working there. They are one of the few businesses around where the customers really are appreciated.
It's not a great sit-down atmosphere unless you consider it eating at a friend's house: clean, welcoming and no frills. It's like the typical Italian casual eatery from the fifties or sixties.
The only great pasta in the Oxon Hill area. -

This place may look like a dive but the pizza is really good. I'll admit this pizzaria looks outdated and could use a dusting and a renovation but i never had an issue with the food or service. This place is also a sports bar that seems to get a lot of business. Parking is so-so if It's crowded. I love pizza especially Ma & Pa pizzerias so this one of my spots I prefer to go to and It's close to my home. I usually get my special pizza and this is one of the few spots that get it right. I'm going to explore the menu the next time I go there. But if you're looking for some good pizza this is the spot.

Delicious, old school, local pizzeria! My kids really enjoyed their pizza. Spaghetti carbonara and chicken parm both truly excellent. I've been coming here since I was a little kid -- and Pizza Italia is still simple and delicious.

Came across this place after shopping at the outlets.
It was ok. The best thing was probably the garlic bread we ordered.
I had the pizza that has eggplant, artichoke hearts, and bell peppers. Now I like all of those things but on this pizza it was kind of too much like the pieces were too big and didn't seem cohesive in my opinion.
Fiance had the eggplant parm and he said it was good but nothing to write home about at the end of the day.
I brought about 75% of my pizza home and I think we ended up throwing it away- which is unusual for us.
The waitress was so sweet and really friendly. She is why I give it more than 1 star.
I think they do a lot of carry out because for lunch on a sat we were the only people sitting down.
The tables all looked like they needed to be cleaned off after the last person left and my first plate had food on it still.
Ambiance was kind of cold and odd but I did like the lights they had up in the dining room.
Would I go back? No probably not but the bar that's connected to the restaurant was full so I'm guessing they do a lot of repeat neighborhood business. -

service is absolutely terrible. The woman that work there was out front smoking and then as soon as we got inside, she entered behind us--only to explain us that they aren't serving anyone. However they continued to serve people that walk in the door. I walked over to the bar to ask 2 other servers- and they all looked at each other and said the kitchen is closed--the restaurant is full of people but they wouldn't serve us! Never go here! it's really unfortunate for the owner
